Senior Design Leader | Product, Service, and UX

I am a digital product leader who is passionate about building and growing happy, healthy design & research teams to launch and scale new ventures in both startup and corporate environments. I believe design is strategy, and am energized by helping teams and organizations navigate mighty, meaty, meaningful challenges to bring products to market. I see everyone as a leader, and act as a facilitator-advocate-coach-aligner-mobilizer-sherpa-dreamer-ally whose job is to steer through ambiguity and simplify complexity so that teams can be their best selves and feel safe and inspired to do their best work.

I am currently Design Partner at The Holding Co., a collaboration between IDEO and Melinda Gates’ Pivotal Ventures to reinvent care in the 21st century. We co-design digital products with startups, corporations, and nonprofits to change how our country can better care for kids, the aging, the sick, and those who support them. I was previously Director of Design & Innovation at Sutter Health, one of the nation’s largest hospital systems serving +3M patients in Northern California.
